i believe that a woman’s body is wonderfully made to be able to birth a baby on it’s own with as little interventions as possible. i do believe that there circumstances where medical intervention is absolutely necessary. i value the importance of equipping you to learn all about what your body has been created to do and about the decisions you are able to make during pregnancy, labor, birth and for your baby.
as your doula, i am committed to you to become the mother you desire to be. the choices you make will be an essential part of nurturing your baby and building your family.

as your doula, i am dedicated and committed to serving you. i am there to encourage and support you throughout the whole process of labor and birth, never leaving your side. although, i do not see this as a solo debut. i am honored to be a part of a very special team that surrounds you to encourage you during your pregnancy, labor, birth and experience with your baby.
i do not replace the role of your partner. i work along side your partner to encourage him to care for and support you.
i am not a medical professional. i leave the medical procedures up to the midwives, nurses and doctors you choose. i will work together with them so that you are safe and comfortable during birth.
i believe that each person on your team serves a very important role as we work together to bring a new life into the world. it is truly a labor of love.
